Our popular Artspace has relocated (2 doors down) to a fantastic new space, with lots of natural light and heaps more room for all of our budding artists to express and create in!
Artspace is a kids arts studio located in Corrimal. We offer creative arts classes for children aged 3-17 years of age during school term. Our classes are fun and inspiring and are tailored to your child's unique abilities. All classes are taught by practising artists and educators and are inspired by the Reggio approach to arts education.

Term One 2012: 6 February - 5 April 2012 (9 Weeks, or 8 week term for Friday students due to Good Friday public holiday)
Artspace offers classes in creative writing and visual arts after school and on Saturdays during school term for children aged 5 to 12 years.
Check out our term timetable (below) for details. The term programs start second week back at school to give parents time to get organised! You can start your child at Artspace at any time during the term. Our programs change constantly and we offer a huge variety of mediums over each nine week period.
In 2012, Artspace is bringing back the popular Shenanigans classes with Toby and Bro on Saturdays from term two.
NEW CLASS FOR 'ARTFUL MUMS'! The Artful Mums class starts Term 1 2012 and includes a child minding service in the adjacent Green Bean Play Cafe.
Artspace offers a preschool program in visual arts during the week - mornings during school term. We are happy for parents to stay if your preschooler would like you to, or you can grab a coffee and some down time in our adjacent parent lounge. You can start your child in a preschool class at Artspace anytime (you don't have to wait until the term starts again to enrol in to the program).
Classes cost $15 per week for the first child and $12 per week for siblings. Payable at Illawarra Children's Services central office by credit card or Eftpos. Cheque or cash also accepted at Artspace. Classes are held on Mondays though to Saturday (see timetable below for class times). Contact us on 4283 9967 to make your booking.
You can still try out a class before committing to a full term, but you must book as places are filling up fast!
Artspace also offers school holiday workshops which include a mixture of creative mediums like ice sculpture, book making, graffiti art, painting, creating drawing robots and much more.

We believe that through the visual arts, children become braver and more investigative in their approach and focus while their interpretative skills are developed. The visual arts can boost self confidence and esteem and teach 'cause and effect' and a clearer view as to the way the things around us connect. We are also an excursion venue for Preschools, Primary schools, Playgroups and Family Day Care. Bookings can be made between 9.30am and 2.30pm Mondays, Thursdays or Fridays. Maximum group size is 15 (minimum 8 children).
