The Day Care Project facilitates access to early childhood services for children with a developmental delay and ongoing high support needs. Illawarra Children's Services works in partnership with Ageing, Disability and Home Care and is funded by Community Services to deliver this project.

Inclusion Support Program (ISP)

The Inclusion Support Program is funded by the NSW Department of Education and Training to support children in early childhood centres operated by Illawarra Children's Services. The program aims to improve educational opportunities, learning outcomes and personal development for children with disabilities.

Children's Services as Community Hubs

The Children's Services as Community Hubs project (2518 Hubs) is funded by the Stronger Families and Communities Strategy, an Australian Government initiative. It is designed to support families with young children aged 0-6 years, living in the Corrimal and Bellambi areas. A range of support programs and activities are available for families, including parenting workshops, playgroups and joint programs with other support services.

Transition to School

The Transition to School Program is funded by Families NSW to support children entering formal schooling through a range of school and community activities, the sharing of research on best practice, provision of practical support to childcare services and schools, and access to resources.

Supported Playgroups

Supported playgroups operate to assist children and families with identified needs in their development and readiness for school. Illawarra Children's Services works in partnership with other agencies to provide supported playgroups in the Illawarra.
