The Illawarra Communication Support Network (ILLCOS) Resource Room has been designed as a facility to enable people to use software and equipment to make augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and provide advice on constructing visual communication. Facilities include a computer, scanner, laminator and digital camera, along with a range of software including Boardmaker and Writing with Symbols. Resources are also available for loan, including books, software and ready-made AAC devices. Supported or unsupported sessions are available in the Resource Room, depending on the needs of the individual. Use of the Resource Room is free of charge. - ILLCOS
