Bro and Toby Encourage a Bit of ‘Funny Business’
The hilarious Toby Coy and Bro Reveleigh are expected to cause some havoc again next month when they continue their wild and whacky classes for children interested in theatre and comedy.
Young performers aged 9-12 will create slow-motion scenes, learn to think and improvise on their feet and become other people’s limbs in theatre sport activities.
Actor/Comedian Toby Coy says he loves to work with children because they usually have no inhibitions.
“Children come up with fantastic ideas and some just have a really weird talent that they always end up bringing to the spotlight,” said Toby.
The improvisation and comedy program is part of Illawarra Children’s Services objective to encourage children to use their imaginations, think creatively and have fun!
The program incorporates a mix of improvisation, characterisation and comedy. The children’s comedy skits will be filmed and edited for the children to take home at the end of the school term.
Our morning workshop will kick-off at 9:30am, Saturday 31 July at our central office, located at Level 1, 98 Railway Street, Corrimal. Visit www.ics.org.au for more info.
