Kids bored these school holidays? Not anymore! Check out these holiday activities specialised for any kind of kid.
Children have different personalities, which is why Illawarra Children’s Services has set out to create programs that are different, fun and exciting for all kids no matter their interests, talents and skills.
The Skoolzout, all-day holiday programs for 5 to 12 year olds are always a popular choice for working families too. They run until the end of January, and are located at Albion Park, Balarang, Flinders, Unanderra, West Wollongong, Wollongong, Fairy Meadow, Bulli, Narellan, Thirroul, Harrington Park and a new service at Narellan.
The Skoolzout holiday program highlights include Masterchef cook-offs, gymnastics, circus workshops, ice skating, laser skirmish and heaps of other exciting excursions, activities and special guests.
Artspace in Corrimal is a not-for-profit art studio that runs a holiday program for young people aged 5-16. The January program features an incredible array of guest artists engaging children in ice sculpture, painting, advertising, printmaking, robotics, illustration, textiles and groovy music sessions.
General Manager at Illawarra Children’s Services, Jennine Primmer says Illawarra Children’s Services always values creativity in the lives of children when producing its programs.
